RE: Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Corrections Officer Tawanna Marin

On Monday, June 18, 2018, Officer Tawanna Marin of the Florida Department of Corrections passed away in the line of duty. Marin served the citizens of Florida faithfully over the last nine years. In honor of Corrections Officer Tawanna Marin, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the Miami-Dade County Courthouse in Miami, Florida, the City Hall of Pompano Beach, Florida, and the South Florida Reception Center in Doral, Florida from sunrise until sunset Saturday, June 30, 2018.
