Correctional Officer Arrested Following OIG Investigation

SANDERSON, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) arrested Correctional Officer Tasha Williams today following an OIG criminal investigation. Williams has been charged with sexual misconduct and sexual battery.

Following the arrest, Williams was transported to the Baker County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 8th Judicial Circuit.

All information “revealing the substance of a confession” by a person arrested until there is a final disposition in the case 119.071(2)(e), F.S.
