Correctional Officer Arrested Following OIG Investigation

CHIPLEY, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) arrested Correctional Officer Gregory McIntyre today following an OIG criminal investigation. McIntyre has been charged with malicious battery and falsifying records.

Following the arrest, McIntyre was transported to the Washington County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 14th Judicial Circuit.
