The Florida Department of Corrections partners with the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation to provide inmates with a comprehensive yearlong training program aimed at rehabilitating retired thoroughbred racehorses for use by the Department and other law enforcement agencies. Second Chances Farm also prepares the animals for adoption by the general public and life-long retirements. This creates countless opportunities for success for both retired horses and inmates.|
