Local Community Invited to Department of Corrections Town Hall Meeting

WHAT: The Town Hall Meetings are an opportunity for the Department to hear thoughts and suggestions on how the Department can work with community members in facilitating the positive re-entry of inmates into all Florida communities. Re-entry begins on day one of incarceration and continues upon release. Therefore, we must all work together as a team to allow these former inmates every opportunity to become successful members of society.

5230 West Highway 98
Panama City, Florida 32401
WHEN: Wednesday, August 15, 2012.  Registration and informational booths open at 5:00 p.m. and the forum runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
WHO: Department of Corrections, local dignitaries of Bay, Walton, Washington, Calhoun, Gulf and Franklin Counties, and all citizens. The Re-entry Partnership Public Forum is open to the public. The media is encouraged to attend. Members of the Department's leadership team will be available to the media before and following the forum.
