FDC Assault Advisories | October 19 – October 25, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Lowell Correctional Institution: On October 18, Inmate Destiny Boice (N41613) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On October 19, Inmate Edward Jackson (B10342) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Work Camp: On October 19, Inmate Jose Estrada (Y28513) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On October 19, Inmate Alfredo Williams (099224) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On October 19, Inmate Matthew Oliver (C09958) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On October 20, Inmate Christopher Foster (T71049) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On October 20, Inmate Elford Brown (P71648) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 20, Inmate Marvin Pace (B02617) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 20, Inmate Marvin Pace (B02617) assaulted an officer by scratching them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On October 21, Inmate Darnell Williams (B10369) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On October 21, Inmate Morris Brown (082049) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On October 22, Inmate Montel Howard (N27865) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On October 22, Inmate James Travis (198583) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 23, Inmate Dontay Lester (J17500) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lancaster Correctional Institution: On October 23, Inmate Garrett Boone (T85493) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On October 23, Inmate Timothy Lowe (U80027) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hamilton Annex: On October 24, Inmate Everald Stephens (L29483) assaulted an officer by striking them in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On October 24, Inmate Denis Altamirano (M75702) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On October 24, Inmate Joshua Neipert (S32932) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On October 24, Inmate John Vicente (083142) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On October 25, Inmate Chad Dickerson (R12571) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
