FDC Assault Advisories | April 12 – April 18, 2022
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Central Florida Reception Center: On April 12, Inmate Kadeem Davis (T86335) assaulted an officer by grabbing their leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Century Correctional Institution: On April 12, Inmate David Garland (N10703) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hamilton Annex: On April 12, Inmate Joe Thompson (C10924) assaulted an employee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 13, Inmate Michael Goodson (J50205) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 13, Inmate Charles Guess (M58720) assaulted an officer by biting their thumb. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Blackwater Correctional Facility: On April 13, Inmate Shawn Pate (U55039) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Desoto Work Camp: On April 13, Inmate Jeffery Mathis (139215) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 13, Inmate Charles Guess (M58720) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Tomoka Correctional Institution: On April 13, Inmate Ricky Thomas (C60636) assaulted an employee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On April 13, Inmate Allen Williams (V23644) assaulted officers by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 14, Inmate Charles Guess (M58720) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 14, Inmate Michael Moss (G26930) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: On April 15, Inmate Willie Rogers (188240) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On April 15, Inmate Tyrus Bryant (Q40377) assaulted an officer by kicking their shin. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Lowell Correctional Institution: On April 15, Inmate Tracey Dean (157056) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 15, Inmate Willie Pennick (N03979) assaulted an officer by pushing and kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 15, Inmate Michael Moss (G26930) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On April 16, Inmate Jimmy Graham (N32539) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On April 16, Inmate Marcus Foster (X57772) assaulted officers by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On April 17, Inmate Hakeem Fulton (I43577) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lake Correctional Facility: On April 17, Inmate Jerome Bernard (B40502) assaulted an employee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On April 18, Inmate Michael Murray (C05970) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Blackwater Correctional Facility: On April 18, Inmate Tyler Osborn (F80222) assaulted an officer by elbowing them in the chin. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
