FDC Assault Advisories | January 11 – January 17, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Santa Rosa Annex: On January 11, Inmate Dwayne Moore (J34120) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On January 11, Inmate Johnathan Lott (H44383) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On January 12, Inmate Johnathan Lott (H44383) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On January 12, Inmate Jeremiah Cobbs (R23733) assaulted an officer by hitting them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Desoto Annex: On January 12, Inmate Bo Cleveland (C08069) assaulted an officer by striking them on the left side of the jaw with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Annex: On January 12, Inmate Terry Myrick (J33721) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On January 12, Inmate Lucson Joseph (W49664) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On January 12, Inmate Johnathan Lott (H44383) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On January 13, Inmate Christopher Renshaw (T82670) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On January 13, Inmate Akin Fabiyi (L58056) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On January 14, Inmate Jakob Hunt (C50789) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On January 14, Inmate Lanarriun Wilson (N32271) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On January 14, Inmate Keith Wromas (M09561) assaulted an officer by striking them over the left eye. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Graceville Correctional Facility: On January 14, Inmate Dion Nelson (U45338) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Blackwater Correctional Facility: On January 15, Inmate Jermaine Jones (Y08718) assaulted officers by striking them on top of the head with a closed fist and improvised weapon multiple times. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On January 15, Inmate Lamar Davis (J59410) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On January 16, Inmate Franklin Shaheem (F11269) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On January 17, Inmate Glenn Redding (H45524) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
