FDC Assault Advisories | June 8 – June 14, 2021
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On June 8, Inmate Benjamin Cummings (B07602) assaulted two officers by headbutting and kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Annex: On June 9, Inmate Tyree Lindsey (P40639) assaulted an officer by punching them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On June 9, Inmate Michael Nath (J55797) assaulted an officer by pulling their hands into the cuffing port. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On June 10, Inmate Dante Harris (K75487) assaulted an officer by striking them with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Gulf Correctional Institution: On June 10, Inmate Lazel Anderson (X86020) assaulted an officer by striking them with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Annex: On June 10, Inmate Bradley Crumpton (P50112) assaulted an officer by striking them with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On June 10, Inmate Anton Cesar (I43740) assaulted an officer by pulling their hands into the cuffing port. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On June 10, Inmate Keytric Isaac (R77442) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Hernando Correctional Institution: On June 11, Inmate Julie Cruz (X78540) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Tomoka Correctional Institution: On June 11, Inmate Calquon Cole (F70907) assaulted two officers by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
