FDC Celebrates T.A.I.L.S. Graduation at Baker Correctional Institution

If you would like to attend, please contact the Florida Department of Corrections’ Office of Communications as soon as possible at (850) 488-0420. Attendees will need to complete and submit a media background access form. No video or photos may be taken without prior consent and approval of Department staff at the event.

Media are invited to the Teaching Animals and Inmates Life Skills (T.A.I.L.S.) graduation ceremony. The T.A.I.L.S. program brings together rescue dogs from the non-profit organization Pit Sisters and inmates from Baker Correctional Institution Re-Entry Center for obedience training. Graduating dogs are crate trained, housebroken, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots and micro-chipped, making them ideal candidates for adoption.
