Florida Correctional Officer Arrested

MIAMI, Fla – The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Cleotida Del-Pilar-Mejia. Del-Pilar-Mejia is charged with Drug Trafficking (Cocaine), Unlawful Compensation by a Public Servant and Unlawful Use of an Electronic Communication Devices to Facilitate a Felony.

Following the arrest, Del-Pilar-Mejia was transported to the Miami Dade County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Miami Dade Police Department and Director Juan J. Perez
