Correctional Officer Arrested Following OIG Investigation

LIVE OAK, Fla. - Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) arrested Correctional Officer Mattie Hooker today following an OIG criminal investigation. Hooker has been charged with official misconduct, introduction of contraband and organized scheme to defraud.

Following the arrest, Hooker was transported to the Suwannee County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 3rd Judicial Circuit.
