Statement Regarding Century CI and Dade CI Captures

CENTURY, Fla ظ€ô On May 3, Inmate Richard Ethridge, Century CI, left his community work detail without authorization from staff. The Department immediately notified local law enforcement and a search was initiated. Within hours, Inmate Ethridge was found by the Department’s K-9 Team and taken into custody by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. The Department would like to thank the immediate response and assistance from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Escambia County Sheriff’s Office in Ethridge’s capture.

FLORIDA CITY, Fla. ظ€ô Inmate Marv Hubbard, Dade CI, left his community work detail without authorization from staff. The Department immediately notified local law enforcement and a search was initiated. Within 24 hours, Inmate Marv Hubbard was taken into custody by a multi-agency team and was transported to Miami-Dade County Jail. The Department would like to thank the immediate response and assistance from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Miami-Dade Police Department, Florida City Police Department and Homestead Police Department in Hubbard’s capture.
