Correctional Sergeant Arrested Following OIG Investigation
BONIFAY, Fla. - The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) arrested former Correctional Sergeant Laura Huckaby yesterday following an OIG criminal investigation. Huckaby has been charged with sexual misconduct and introduction of contraband.
Following the arrest, Huckaby was transported to the Holmes County Jail. The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office in the 14th Judicial Circuit.
