In February 2015, the Department announced its intention to release an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) for comprehensive healthcare services, prior to the beginning of 2016. Through an ITN, the Department seeks to enhance elements of the health care services provided to the inmates in our custody.
On May 27, 2015, the Department held a public meeting, to garner feedback from prospective vendors and afford prospective vendors the opportunity to ask questions. Below is the link to the agenda from that meeting.
Four (4) ITNs were released on December 18, 2015, and posted on the Vendor Bid System at the link below.
As of June, 2017, ITN 15-112, Comprehensive Health Care Services – Inpatient and Outpatient Mental Health Services and ITN 15-113, Comprehensive Health Care Services, Medical and Hospital Operations at the Reception and Medical Center (RMC) are in the negotiation phase.
On January 17, 2017, the Department issued an Agency Decision to reject all replies to ITN 15-110, Comprehensive Health Care Services – Institutional Dental Services for Inmates. On March 6, 2017, the re-procurement ITN 17-168 was advertised on the Vendor Bid System.
On May 9, 2017, the Department issued an Agency Decision to reject all replies to ITN 15-111 Comprehensive Health Care Services, Institutional Medical Care for Inmates. On May 22, 2017 the re-procurement ITN 17-185 was advertised on the Vendor Bid System.
